The Committee on Agriculture monitors the implementation of the Agreement on Agriculture and gives Members the opportunity to consult on any matter relating to the implementation of the scheduled and rule-based commitments. Article 18 of the Agreement on Agriculture constitutes the legal basis for the Committee’s overseeing function, referred to as the Review Process. The mandate of the Committee in this respect is contained in the January 1995 Decision by the General Council (WT/L/43).
A Member which proposes to raise any matter in the course of a regular meeting shall give advance notice of its intention prior to the meeting.
